This exquisite sculptural vessel (see note) has been handmade in the small Moroccan village of Tamegroute located near the Sahara desert. Unlike most pottery from Tamegroute, this piece is unglazed and has a 'raw' finish, a rare find and truly unique.
Perfectly imperfect: Tamegroute pottery uses a unique crafting process that is carried out by hand. As a result, there will be variations in sizing and finish which we feel adds to the charm and makes these pieces special. There is no uniform glaze, color, or covering which our photography tries to show as clearly as possible.
