Boujaad rugs are hand loomed in the middle of the Atlas mountains of Morocco by the Boujaad tribes. They often have patterns of small geometric shapes and stars. These soft yet striking pieces are produced with soft wool using mostly natural food with dyes, henna and indigo. Colours are often - pinks, red, purples and oranges.
These vintage rugs are between 20-60 years old and any wear and tear seen is appropriate to the age of the rug.
Beautiful soft colours with a bright pop of red at one end. This vintage peice has a cotton backing with wool pile.
