Kamila is a modern Boujaad rug, handmade in the middle of the Atlas Mountains of Morocco.
These rugs are handcrafted by the women of the various tribes of Morocco and can take a few months to a year to complete.Each tribe has a particular style carft and the rugs are given the name sake of these tribes ie Boujaad.
Boujaad rugs often have patterns of small geometric shapes and stars. These soft yet striking pieces are produced with soft wool using mostly natural food with dyes, henna and indigo. Colours are often - pinks, red, purples and oranges. Each rug is individually handcrafted and maybe slightly asymmetrical in their shape and pattern with some minor imperfections.
Colours: Base of peach and pink with patterns of aqua, cream and black.
