"Dincer" meaning compassionate is a beautiful Boujaad rug handcrated in the mid Atlas Mountains.
These rugs are handcrated by the Berber women of Morocco and can take months to a year to complete. Each tribe has a particular style craft and the rugs are given the namesake of these tribes ie Boujaad, Beni Mguild, Beni Ourain.
They often have patterns of small geometric shapes and stars. These soft yet striking pieces are produced with soft wool using mostly natural food with dyes, henna and indigo. Colours are often - pinks, red, purples and oranges. Each of these rugs is individually handcrafted and maybe slightly asymmetrical in their shape and pattern with some minor imperfections.
These vintage rugs can be between 20-60 years old and have been lovingly repaired, wear and tear is seen appropriate to the age of the rug.
